Forgetting The Silence

Living on the highs and lows.... Seeing where this takes me.

Ask me anything

I JUST CAN’T EVEN…  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t remeber the last time I posted but I’m just so excited right now I can’t sit still and keep silent (even though it’s 24 hour quiet hours)!

IN SEVEN MONTHS AND 3 DAYS I WILL BE TRAVELING TO NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA!

I can’t believe this is actually happening! After a year of sacrifices and saving, it’s finally offical that I will be on that 18 hour plane ride toward a new culture and a crazy adventure. If you want to check it out, you can look online  at http://www.pacificchallenge.org/ ! I have looked at the itinerary almost everyday for the past three months! I will be on the getaway trip that lasts 25 days as we travel through New Zealand and Australia and I beyond ecstatic!

Bungee jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, hiking, swimming with wild dolphins, rappelling, sea kayaking, exploring, camping, and experiencing the night life of Sydney and Wellington!

I just want to scream I am so excited! Traveling around the world with one of my best friends? (Granted the other will be in Ireland.) CAN I GO NOW!? I am so excited for Hayden and I to start planning, packing, and getting even more excited to start this crazy, adventure-filled excursion together! 4 weeks of nonstop action and views that will never be forgotten!

I think I’m going to start a side blog to document my trip. Who knows?! Maybe just a journal. I don’t want to forget a single thing!

This is truly a once in a lifetime experience and I am so fortunate to get to spend it with Hayden!! God is good and has blessed me with an amazing opportunity!

Here I come 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney!!!!!!!!!!!

:) Finally cut my hair!! It’s so weird that it’s short but I love it! Might dye it tonight with the other girls. Who knows?  I haven’t had my hair this short since 6th grade and I have no idea why. It took me 4 minutes to straighten it and like 6 to dry! Why have I not done this sooner? I’m in a “I need change mood”! :) Mission accomplished.

My parents are coming for supper tomorrow and they have no idea. We’ll see how that goes! My mom will freak. I doubt my dad will notice because well… he’s a man. But whatever. I couldn’t be happier with it!

Wow. That pretty much sums up my week. It has been non stop activity, running around, getting things ready, and meeting some adorable residents! I’m exhausted and exhilerated. I’m so ready for my full floor. I love my staff and am ready to get things started!

With all that said, I’m still super excited for everyone else who moved off campus to move in too! I saw Trevor today which was awesome! I love his apartment and feel like I’ll be spending alot of time there when I need a break.

This post is extremely lame and gives no indication of how I’m feeling but it’s all I have right now! UHHH!

Hellllooo Winona!

It’s so weird to be back so early! I’ll post pictures of my dorm later but it has been an exhasuting day. Saying goodbye to my parents was harder then expected but training starts tomorrow and I’m nervous/excited. All I know is the start time. No idea about what we’re doing, how long it’ll be or anything! Hopefully it won’t be a full day being that I have an entire week of training but we’ll see.

I’m really liking my room! It’s bigger then last year. It’s still not the size of St. Ben’s doubles but it’s a good single size. I really think I’m going to like having a single room and an open door!

It’d be cool if I had the results to my MTLE……………………

I seriously think I’m going crazy waiting for them.

I love arts and crafts-ting. I love being inspired. I have been in love with this whale painting for a while, but I decided to change up the colors a bit!
